However, the frame's one-way glass requires turning off the camera's infrared night vision in settings. The camera can record in low light, but total darkness within the Conceal-a-Cam enclosure might hinder the recording. For the Ring Stick-up Battery Cam users, if the camera is operating solely on battery power, it will still be able to display live video feed. However, it will not send motion notifications to the app. This is where the optional "Barrel Plug Power Adapter for Stick Up Cam" comes in handy. By connecting the camera to a power source through the adapter, you can enable the camera to send motion alerts to the app, ensuring that you don't miss any important activity in your vicinity.
